Our Mission

The Rockingham County Humane Society's purpose is to prevent cruelty to animals, relieve suffering among animals, and increase awareness of animal humane issues among the public.  We provide a multitude of services including locating lost pets, outreach on the need for neutering and spaying, information on proper animal care, information & referral, education on responsible pet ownership, information on state and local animal laws, and animal adoption.
